Ozone washing: how it works and what it changes for your laundry

What ozone is and why it's used in laundry
Ozone (O3) is a molecule made of three oxygen atoms and a strong oxidising agent. In Speed Queen washers it is dissolved in the wash water, where it works alongside the detergent.
Its main advantage is that it works at low temperature: ozone quickly activates the detergent even in cold water and improves the wash result, without heating the water.
